Our sweet baby James entered the world on November 25 at 12:11 a.m. measuring 21 inches and weighing 8.8 pounds :)

He is just the most precious thing we've ever seen and love him SO very much!

We came home today and are just loving cuddling and snuggling with him :)

We love you James!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

This week's been great since it's Thanksgiving break so it's easy to think about things I'm loving :)

I'm loving that my due date is SUNDAY so I'm hoping that little James will make his arrival very soon!

I'm loving that my fam is coming to our house for Thanksgiving this year :)

I'm loving these yummy cookies my mama made...if you love chocolate like me then you'll love these!

I'm loving the beautiful weather we've been having!

I'm loving that our Christmas stockings came in last week :)

Two posts in two days?! I know...crazy right?!

Since I'm off on Thanksgiving break I have more time on my hands and thought I'd like up with From Mrs. to Mama's Show and Tell Monday!

Here are this week's Thanksgiving questions...

1. Tell us about your family traditions for Thanksgiving.

Growing up, we always had Thanksgiving lunch at my Mimi's or my aunt Mary King's.  After lunch, my cousins, J, and I would always walk around the farm and enjoy the beautiful fall weather :)

This year is the first year we aren't having Thanksgiving lunch in my hometown.  Since my Mimi passed away in April and our little boy is due any day now, the fam is coming to our house!

2. Tell us about your favorite foods.

Oh gosh...I love it all! Turkey and dressing is probably my fave though :) Followed closely by my mama's boiled custard for dessert!

3. Show us a picture that reminds you of this holiday.

This is my Mimi's dining room table before Thanksgiving a couple of years ago...I'll always have wonderful memories of holidays spent at her house :)

This picture of the dirt road behind my Mimi and Papa's house also reminds me of Thanksgiving...

4. Tell us, do you wait to decorate for Christmas before or after Thanksgiving?

I wait! Thanksgiving needs its own time before Christmas takes over :)

5. Tell us what you are thankful for this year.

I just posted about things I'm thankful for yesterday :)  But to sum it all up...I'm thankful for all the blessings God has given to me and my family!

I know it's crazy that I'm actually blogging on a day other than Wednesday...life has just gotten super busy!

So since I have some time on my hands I thought I'd link up with Neely's Sunday Social :)

Today's topic is things you're thankful for and since I've been posting on Facebook each day for things I'm thankful for I thought I'd share on my little blog too!

So here's what I've been thankful for for the past couple of weeks...

I'm thankful for God's love and all the blessings he's given me.

I'm thankful for my sweet, sweet husband.  Thank you for being so loving, caring, supportive, funny, and so much more! I love you so very much!

I'm thankful that we will soon become mama and daddy to our baby boy who will be here any day now!

I'm thankful for my sweet little Daisy...she's our first baby and always puts a smile on our faces :)

I'm thankful for my wonderful parents! Thank you for all you've done for us and for baby James :) We can't thank you enough!

I'm thankful for my {not so} little brother!

I'm thankful for all the fun memories I had with a friend who recently passed away in a car accident...his hugs and smiles will be missed!

I'm thankful for my aunt Mary King! You're such a blessing in everyone's lives and I love that I get to share my birthday with you :)

I'm thankful for cousins that are like sisters :)

I'm thankful for having 20 years with my Papa :) He was and still is an inspiration to me and many others! I love and miss him each and every day!

I'm thankful for having 26 years with my Mimi :) I'm so glad we were able to tell her back in April that she was going to be a great-grandma! Love and miss you so much, Mimi!

I'm thankful for my Aunt DD who I think switched me and my cousin at birth ;)

I'm thankful for marrying into such a great family!

I'm thankful for good doctor's appointments :)

I'm thankful that my Thanksgiving break and maternity leave started Friday! Yay!

I'm thankful that Mama and Daddy saved the rocking chair they used with me and my brother so that we could use it in James' nursery! We had it recovered and it looks perfect in his room :)

Taking the time to realize all the many things God has given me and my little family makes me so very thankful!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Here's what I'm loving on this cold and dreary fall day...

I'm loving that I have a short work week this week since we didn't have to work on Monday :)

I'm loving that we're going to my second to last doctor's appointment tomorrow! I can't believe baby James should be here in about 2 weeks!

I'm loving that we got a lot of things done over the weekend to get ready for our sweet baby boy's arrival...put in his car seat, put together the pack and play, and his little sleep/rocker.  We also ordered a few things off our registry that we hadn't gotten which should be here soon!
