10 day you challenge!

Happy Monday night y'all!

I never like posting this late but I've been slacking on the blogging front (except for What I'm Loving Wednesday!) so I thought I'd play along with this fun post that I've seen some other bloggers doing...

Today's topic is ten secrets. Now my secrets are nothing super crazy or secretive but here ya go...

{one}
I sometimes wonder if teaching is what I'm supposed to do for the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE all the little kiddos and working with a great team but y'all...it's stressful! Can't blogging be my full time job?! ;)

{two}
I follow lots of blogs and read them all! I may not have time to comment on every single one but I love reading what's going on in y'alls lives :)

{three}
I sometimes wish we could move back closer to our families (I know you'd love that mama!). We love where we live now but I do miss the fam :)

{four}
I could drink a glass of chocolate milk every night! Love it :)

{five}
I sometimes would like to be a little more outgoing. Growing up I was always quiet and shy (and I still kind of am!). However, I think being in a sorority and becoming a teacher has brought me out of my shell a little bit.

{six}
I'm scared to death to get on an airplane. I'd love to visit new places but am terrified to get on a plane!

{seven}
I somehow manage to get by on about 5-6 hours of sleep. I've GOT to start going to bed earlier but I've become such a night owl!

{eight}
I wouldn't be upset if J's Playstation 3 broke ;)

{nine}
I hate leaving little Daisy at home alone while we're at work :(

{ten}
It was secretly hard to come up with ten "secrets"!

Hope everyone has had a marvelous day!

Goodnight!

Number 6: Face your fears!! There are so many great things for you to experience! I know that you will get the courage to overcome that one day. :)

Number 8: Laughed out loud. I know what that's like, sister!

I follow WAY too many blogs too and I feel bad when I can't comment on all of them! But I do read all of them... at some point in the day, haha.

Ooooh! I may just have to join in on this post! And the whole sleeping thing...that's exactly what I say to myself every single morning! But now I'm wide awake and don't want to go to bed!! =)

I totally agree on number 7! I have no idea how I manage...maybe it's a teacher thing? lol

Four & Eight: I honestly think I could drink a glass of chocolate milk every night too! Also, I secretly wish sometimes my hubbys xbox will blow up! Ha ha, boys and their toys! :)

Number 1: Some of the blogs I follow ARE the writer's profession. Sponsors pay them to blog for a living. Can you imagine that?!?! Mod Cloth should start paying you, girl! I had never even heard of them before following your blog.

Number 9: I understand completely. My little Gus follows me to the door every day when I leave for work. It's so hard to go...

Happy Monday!

I started doing this the other day but then stopped to post wedding pictures. I am going to start it up again. I also teach & wonder if it is my true calling & if I will do it forever...

I'm a night owl too! I'm tired all day, but for some reason I'm wide awake at night :(

This is a really cute idea!

I totally understand the " Do I really want to be a teacher for the rest of my life". I get that way too! :)
Love your list.

I bet you would love flying if you ever tried it. I love it and I'm afraid of heights! I hate leaving our dogs for any amount of time, too. It just breaks my heart. I wish I were more outgoing, too. Brandon is the social one of of the two of us, but I'm trying to be better :) xoxo

Love yours!! Number 6 I totally agree with! Hate that seeing my family requires flying! And number 8 is hilarious!! I totally avoid all conversations about gaming systems in our home and am so far winning the battle of not having any! Fingers crossed it stays that way! Hahah! So glad you played along lady! xoxo

Love reading your blog...and I do agree teaching is a STRESSFUL job! People have no clue how many times a day our hearts stop and how many sleepless nights we teachers lay awake thinking about what we could have done different in each and every situation!

I'm really scared to fly too, but I love to travel, so I just try to push through the fear!! My husband says that he always loses circulation in his arm whenever we fly together from me squeezing it in terror!

PS - I am having an Anthropologie giveaway this week that I think you would like!

Jamie I love your post! I'm a teacher too and I LOVE the kiddos, but I know sometimes they make you nuts and you also wish you could do something else. It's tough sometimes, but it's always worth it in the end! I found your blog last week and I love your positivity! Keep it up!!

Thank you for posting that you hate leaving your precious dog alone so you can work. I feel the same way about my dog! People look at me funny when I say that. I also don't like flying so I sometimes use the dog as an excuse as to why I need to drive :)

I love little miss Daisy! She is just precious! Our maltichon, Jacques-Imo, stays home all day while we're at work and I feel so guilty too! But I know that we spoil him and I'm sure you spoil her too... so doesn't that make up for it! XOXO

These are fantastic! I especially agree with 8 and 9. If my husband's PS3 just "happened" to fall off a cliff, I wouldn't mind ;) I also hate leaving my adorably dog every morning! :(

Every time we fly back home, I pray the entire time. I really hate flying! Wouldn't it be wonderful if our jobs were just to blog??

aw I totally agree about leaving our Rocky at home while we are at work! I always panic and find myself racing home to make sure nothing happened during the day. do you do that too?!

I think you should face that lil fear and hop on a plane! you will love all the places you can get to and see! :)

I know what you mean about being scared to fly--but I promise the places you can go will be so much better when you can fly! You have to go see Europe!

Also--sometimes I like Rob's xbox because it keeps him occupied when I need to blog, but othertimes I would like ot secretly unplug it and pretend it broke :)

I'm terrified to fly as well!! I always tell J that I think they would kick me off before the flight even started because I'd be sobbing!

I also wouldn't mind if J's playstation/xbox broke. It would be like a vacation!

I am so excited to find your blog! I will definitely be on board with WILW & the 10 Day You Challenge! (Starting next week, though, when I get back from Savannah. :-)) I know you're already drowing in too many blogs, but feel free to tread water in mine, too! :-D http://castleblake.blogspot.com/

First of all--I completely hear yah on the teaching thing. The stress is beyond overwhelming at times!!

Love, love chocolate milk, too!

And I hate leaving our furbaby at home during the day by himself, too!

I love this challenge and I might have to do it too!

I LOVE chocolate milk. But it must be pre-made. For some reason, it always tastes better!

I love to travel but I hate planes. They scare me too. I still ride on them but it freaks me out every time!

Happy Monday!!
