Happy Monday y'all!
It's back to the daily grind now that my spring break is over :( It was so nice to be able to relax, sleep in, and spend time with friends and family! Luckily, I get another little break for Easter weekend...we get Friday and Monday off :)
Here's a little recap of my last weekend of spring break...
Thursday
My hubby works for Alltel (the cell phone company) and does marketing and promotions for Georgia and South Carolina. Every so often, the markets get Chad (the spokesman for Alltel...you've probably seen him on the commercials!) to come visit the area. My hubby was in charge of planning different events for Chad to do in the area...visit Alltel stores, a high school, and The Boys and Girls Club.
He was here for a few days and we went out to eat a LOT! Here we are at a local restaurant...

{Sorry for the blurry phone pic!}
Chad was SUPER friendly and down to earth! It was so fun getting to meet him :)
Friday
After cleaning the house some, we went out for supper and then to a baseball game. Lots of people recognized Chad which was pretty funny!
Saturday
We had a busy day Saturday! It started off by going to the art festival in Sweetheart Circle on GSU's campus. There was were many neat arts and crafts booths, vendors selling their crafts, and even the Humane Society (which made me tear up because I wanted to take home all the sweet little dogs!).
{Our friend's sweet daughter Kaylee.}
{A lady from our church makes these spoon rests out of glass bottles!}
{Kids were having so much fun painting these sculptures.}
After the art festival, we went to Heavenly Ham (our Saturday ritual!) then headed to little Kaylee's soccer game.
{J enjoying the game}
After the game, we went to another game...baseball!
After we won the game, we hung around the house for a bit then went to supper with J's brother and his wife at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Sunday
It was our Sunday to bring breakfast to church and as much as I wanted to bake a super yummy breakfast, we opted for the ever so healthy and quick Dunkin' Donuts!
We went to yet another baseball game and enjoyed spending the day outside since the weather was beautiful!
I hate to see spring break and the weekend come to an end but it will be nice to get back into the swing of things!
Hope y'all had a wonderful weekend and have a marvelous Monday!
