song of the south.

Happy Friday and first day of April y'all!

I am proud to be from the South...

where tea is sweet and accents are sweeter;

Tumblr_lfjrvsytiz1qdgn94o1_400_large

summer starts in April;

front porches are wide and words are long;

macaroni and cheese is a vegetable;

pecan pie is a staple;

y'all is the only proper pronoun;

chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy;

everything is darlin';

and someone is always getting their heart blessed.

Being from the South is quite possibly the best thing ever and I'm proud to call it home :)

Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend!

too cute! One time someone heard my mom talking and said in a rude tone, "well, you must be from Texas." My mom didn't miss a beat and replied, "and there is no other place I'd rather live."
