Happy Monday y'all!
I'm linking up with Carissa on this beautiful Monday afternoon to tell y'all about my first day of work :)
{one}
I had a GREAT first day at work today! My day was mainly spent signing some papers, getting my fingerprint made in the system to sign in in the mornings, shadowing the other Title 1 teacher, getting my school laptop, and helping make my schedule. I met a lot of the teachers I'll be working with as well as some of the students. I'll be working one on one with a few students but will also be helping out teachers in 3rd through 5th grade classes with small groups and things like that. I really think this will be a great school year!

My sweet hubby sent me some balloons and a box of Whitman's Sampler chocolate...my favorite! He sure does know the way to my heart :)
{I've already broken into my chocolate and it was delicious :) The sweet little card said, "I love you! Hope you have a great 1st day!" The little book just has great teachery quotes!}

I'm surprisingly not exhausted after today even though I woke up at 5:15 and left for work before the sun came up! I sure hope I'll be tired later on tonight!

I wore this top and pants from New York and Company to school today along with a simple black cardigan and these black sandals...
{five}
I share my office with two other ladies which is great so we can chit chat and I can ask them questions (which I know I'll be doing!) between classes. I don't have to really do any decorating but I need to get a few things for my desk :)

I just love my little J notepad and super cute planner I got...

OmG, what an INCREDIBLY sweet hubby!!!! :) And I LOVE the outfit... shirts like that are my favorite! And NY&C always has the best teacher clothes. Hope the rest of your week (AND YEAR) goes amazing! :)
Lucky girl you are! Love your notepad and planner, too! I teach 1st grade and we don't start until Sept. 8th, but I changed schools so I have been crazy busy! Have a wonderful start of the school year.

Oh my gosh. You're husband is too cute!! I'm so thrilled to hear your day went so well. Your teachers are blessed to have your help. I love when your title and ELL teachers come in to help because not only does it help me to have more time with the other students, but I know those kids who really need the extra help are getting it. So thrilled for you!
