...just the way it began...

I read a blog friend's post last week and she had reader's ask her hubby questions to answer. One question was what he loved most about her. He said that he loves that his wife is everything he's not. How sweet!?

I feel like that's how me and J are. We are opposites in many ways...he's outgoing, I'm more shy; he always knows the right thing to say at the right time, I have to think before I speak; he's super funny, me...I have my moments; I'm organized and OCD about some things and he isn't; he's a great cook and I'm working on it. I think that these opposites are what make our relationship and marriage work :)

So I asked J the other night what he loved most about me and said the sweetest things :) and I of course had some super sweet reasons about why I love him <3

But the thing I love most about J is his love for me!

We are leaving in a couple of hours to go to northeast Georgia to my family's little cabin.

We're meeting my mom, aunt, and grandma and I'm super excited!

I love going up there to relax, sightsee, and see all the pretty leaves :)

We're going to Highlands one day, Helen & Anna Ruby Falls the next day, and then downtown on Saturday for the Halloween parade.

Hope everyone has had a terrific Tuesday!

Mine was pretty uneventful...

Woke up at 7:30 even though I didn't have to sub and couldn't go back to sleep.

Went to get a mocha frap from Starbucks around 9:30.

Cleaned up around the house.

Went to Walgreens to pick up some pictures.

Browsed around TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby and looked at all the pretty Christmas things already on display.

Had to go to a judicial meeting as an advisor for my sorority.

When I got home, J was getting ready to cook a super yummy meal...grouper, scallops, basmahti rice, green beans, and Caesar salad. Delish!!

Tomorrow afternoon we are off on a mini vacation to my family's mountain house until Sunday. My mama, aunt, and grandma will all be there :)

what a weekend!

Our weekend seemed soooo long!

We left Friday around 3 to head up to North Carolina.

It took 6 hours to get there (but it felt more like 10!).

We stopped to get gas and when we tried to turn the car back on...dead battery!

But luckily we were able to jump it off pretty quickly.

We stayed in this super cute cabin with b-e-a-utiful views!

It was then time to head off to the game.

We had a great time enjoying the gorgeous scenery, being with friends, and supporting our Eagles even though the long drive was awful and Georgia Southern lost to an embarrassing score of 52 - 16 to Appalachian State.
